Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry

Simple gluten free beef and broccoli stir fry. You can sub soy sauce for the liquid aminos if you don't really care about gluten. Easy to customize or change up with what you might have on hand as far as veggies go. Serve over rice.

Marinate the Meat Direct link to this section

  1. Whisk together marinade ingredients.
  2. Pour marinade over beef strips and let sit for 20-30 minutes or longer.

Prepare the Sauce Direct link to this section

  1. Whisk together all sauce ingredients and set to the side.
    • You can adjust the amount of corn starch if you prefer a less thick sauce, I usually only put in 2-3 tbsp usually.

Make the Stir Fry Direct link to this section

  1. Heat a large pan (or wok) with 2 tbsp oil over med-high/high heat.
  2. Add the beef and fry for a few minutes.
    • Adding too much extra marinade liquid into the pan may cause the meat to get steamed, so I recommend either straining or use tongs to add the meat instead of just pouring it all into the pan.
  3. Add vegetable and cook until slightly softened (a few more minutes).
  4. Pour in your sauce and cook until thickened to your liking.
    • If you want to make the sauce thicker after you've started heating the sauce, make sure to make a slurry with the extra corn starch and cold water before adding to the pan. Adding corn starch to the hot pan sauce will cause clumping.
  5. Serve over rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
